Please help me feed 15 people for lunch on Sunday in Torrance area--W. 190th & 110 freeway

El Pollo Inka. Its a peruvian rest. but their specialty is roasted chicken. This place is so good its insane. The ceviche, loma saltado, chifa (fried rice) papa a la huancaina are some of my favorites. they can accomidate a large party and the prices cannot be beat for the quality of food you are getting. buen provecho! They cater too.

Family-style, neighbourhood places in San Diego

The Station Tavern in South Park is a great family place. It's a burger place with many beers on tap.

Good chorizo in SD

Northgate Gonzales Market in National City. Loose chorizo, chorizo in casing, chicken chorizo. All very good.

Suite and Tender in SD...Anyone been yet?

Are you F'n kidding me -- $19 bucks for a martini in sleepy San Diego, in the middle of a recession? That's gross.

Modern Chinese (SD)

When I lived in the Bay Area my favorite Chinese place was called Shen Hua. The food was very fresh and the flavors very clear. I have been struggling to find a place like that here. The food at a lot of Chinese places here seem quite old fashion. Any suggestions (aside from PF Changs)?

Peruvian Aji Peppers (SD)

Does anyone know a place in San Diego that sells fresh Aji pepers?
