Anniversary Dinner in Ann Arbor
My wife and I are looking to celebrate our anniversary in Ann Arbor in July (we'll coincidentally be in town for our son's U of M orientation). Aside from Zingerman's Roadhouse, which we know about, what other recommendations can fellow hounds make for an interesting anniversary meal?

Banquet Recommendations--Chinese or Italian
I'm planning a banquet in Chicago in June to celebrate my two children's graduation from high school and college. We would have no more than 30 guests, perhaps closer to 20. I would like to hold it in a restaurant, preferably Chinese but perhaps Italian. The guests include several vegetarians plus a few older, conservative eaters (hence, the possibility of Italian instead of Chinese). Don't want to break the bank, but want something good. All suggestions welcome.
Thanks.
Best Bagels in Metro Detroit?
So the bagels I get in Southfield were baked in Ferndale?
Interesting Eats Near I-80
Will be driving I-80 across Pennsylvania next Friday. Looking for somewhere interesting near I-80 to stop for lunch, preferably in the western half of the state. Open to any and all types of food.
Best Bagels in Metro Detroit?
My usual bagel stop is New York Bagel on 12th and Evergreen. It's closest to home. Is it worth making the drive to Elaine's in Berkley? Are there other good bagels in the area I'm missing?
Solo Hound in Manhattan
Ethnic foods especially, though not exclusively--Asian, Italian, African, South American. A variety of price ranges--I'll probably do one or two splurges but would be interested in more reasonable places as well. Thanks.
Solo Hound in Manhattan
I will be spending 8 days in the city, staying in Gramercy Park but willing to travel. I'm on my own. Would be interested in recs for good places for single diners. When alone, I like eating at the bar where possible. I eat anything and everything.
St. Patrick's Day in Rome
By chance, I will be in Rome on St. Patrick's Day. Although I don't really celebrate the day at home, I wondered if there were any places to do so in Rome or if it is only an Irish/American holiday.
