What was the pressure cooker used by Ming Tsai?

Yesterday, I saw an episode of "Ming's Table" In which he and his father both made dishes in pressure cookers. The pressure cooker lids had a central knob that seemed to activate two clutches around the outside with just a downward push. The knobs had colored plastic on them - one was avocado, the other orange. The handles were substantial, and I thought they were from OXO. I cannot find them on the internet, and ask for help finding the manufacturer. The size looked like 8 Quart, but I could be wrong. Thanks.

is bon ami the same as barkeepers friend?

Be aware that the liquid BKF is like bleach. I splashed it on my apron the first time I used it. The bottle has an annoying squirt top, and the bleaching was total.

I also agree that you should use Bon Ami first, BKF if that does not work. And never use BKF on the outside of a pot, or top of a lid. Often, the outside and top of the lid are made of 18/0 Stainless steel, even though the interior is 18/10. 18/0 is harder and will keep a shine better, but it is brittle, and can scratch more easily than 18/10, which is softer..

Looking for good espresso beans (for latte/cappuccino that is smooth and tasty)

I just bought a 3-cup Bialetti stovetop model and I want to find espresso that does not taste burnt , too. Please, someone, help us. The first can of espresso I bought smelled so burnt I did not mind throwing away the first three batches, as the manufacturer suggested.as a way to season the pot. It was really fun to watch the thing actually work, so I would really appreciate some help. I am not rich, so would like to have any good suggestion. I would be willing to pay for some really good ground espresso. Thanks.

Name of flatware used on 30-Minute Meals and Iron Chef America?

I am bumping this up to update my info. Tthe Martha Stewart-produced show called "Everyday Cooking" uses the flatware in question. I also saw a "30-Minute Meals" from 2009 in which Rachael used a stainless steel base with a plastic decoration in the handle. This is not the one I am interested in.

Have you actually used both Silvinox AND Brinox-finished Demeyere?

I am having a dilemma. I bought a piece of Demeyere Sirocco cookware from Marshalls about 7-8 years ago and love both the look and the way it handles. I have finally decided to purchase all the sizes I normally use but now have a question. After reading everything I can about the two types of finish, I wonder if I might prefer the Atlantis series with the Silvinox finish. I know that people love the finish of the Brinox, and others say the Silvinox cleans up wonderfully. Has anyone used both, and can you give your comparisons?
I am having good luck purchasing these from an internet site and noticed that the Atlantis pieces seem to be fewer than the Sirocco, and that they go for a higher price when they do show up. Is there a reason?
I have saucepans in Sirocco, but want a 4.2 Quart saute, and I would really like this to be the more non-stick because I will be actually sauteeing in it rather than just boiling liquids. I do not care about pans matching. Thank you.

I want to purchase the flatware used by Rachael Ray. It looks as if the tasting panel on ICA uses the very same pattern. I cannot find this pattern. If anyone KNOWS the name of the pattern, please advise. Thanks.
P.S. I have written to Rachael Ray and the Food Network via e-mail with no result. I do not want to go to flatware.com and look through endless pages of patterns.

Best way to finish knife handle

No, I couldn't. I got it from someone in Hawaii on E-bay and did not have a choice. Personally, I like the black delrin? handles best.

Best way to finish knife handle

After reading the wonderful, erudite, responses on this website, I have to buck up my courage to post this question. I recently purchased a Chinese cleaver-type implement – picture below. The problem is that the handle is completely untreated and I hate to use bare wood in the kitchen. I do not have any varnish, but I do have a bottle of wood glue. Would there be any problem down the road if I painted the handle with wood glue? I keep my knives dry, and always clean them immediately after use. I would welcome a better suggestion.

Is All-Clad nonstick a waste of money?

You can get a replacement All-Clad at Williams-Sonoma. They return it to the manufacturer. If the pan is a second, the W-S Outlet store will provide the replacement.
