Veg Friendly in Charlotte
I can't vouch for the place but Blynk Organic may be of interest: http://www.blynk.com/
Are there any Chicago style pizza joints in Charlotte
Uno occurred to me too right after I posted but I also suspect it won't be up to the challenge. Seems like someone could make a KILLING if they opened up a serious Chicago Style Pizza place in town.

Recs for Downtown Charlotte Restaurants for client dinners
Haven't been to too many places downtown but of the few that I've been too Fleming's was my favorite. There are loads of other great places that I'm sure people will chime in on soon.
Phillips Place Charlotte
I'll fourth Café Monte, right next door. D&D is good too but it's not really the kind of place you'll likely want to go to for a nice evening out. Like everyone else is saying - Nobles, Roosters, Barringtons (my personal fav) are all killer but not terribly convenient if you're not driving. Here are my thoughts on Café Monte:

Arena Area Dining Charlotte NC
It was a cool place but wasn't the best food . . . kinda run-o-the-mill . . . not bad though, just averageish. Actually only went once and that was just a few days ago.
Looking for opinions on a good upper-end seafood restaurant in Charlotte
Haven't been before. Heard of it but forgot about it. I'll have to check it out too.

Really enjoyed Oceanaire but now they're gone. Had a less than stellar experience at Upstream although I plan to go back at some point and give them another chance. Wasn't impressed with McCormick & Schmick or LaVecchia's.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Charlotte, NC Weekend Recommendations
Bill Spoon's recently expanded their hours to lunch Saturday too . . .
Charlotte, NC Weekend Recommendations
1) Flemings is very good. I haven't been to Chima yet but you my find it interesting.
2) Not a sports bar guy so I'll let someone else weigh in on this one
3) I personally like 131 Main which has a location on East Blvd not too far from downtown
4) Mac's Speed Shop or Bill Spoon's (Spoon's is only open for lunch and closed Sunday)
5) Brawley's on Park Rd. for beer and wine but liquor in NC needs to be purchased at an ABC store
6) Fresh Market is good, there's one near the intersection of Providence and Fairview Roads
7) Price's Chicken Coop is an old school local favorite
Enjoy the game and your stay in Charlotte!
