In Town for Conference - Recommendations?

We are coming into town and staying at Marriott near convention center for a conference on 3/1 - 3/2. I know it is during restaurant week ... we are looking for a late dinner somewhere on 3/1 for a group of 10 or so people within walking distance. Recommendations ? Should we make reservations? Someone said Tazia for apps and drinks ... doesn't have to be upscale, especially since some are on a budget ~ any ideas / suggestions appreciated!

Trattoria Romana, bizarre service in Lincoln

we went there a few weeks ago, the service was sketchy -they couldn't answer simple questions and had to check with the kitchen, the food was okay but i thot overpriced. we won't go back-not impressed

Big Family Dinner, Fri Nite, 495 Belt - help?

There's a lot of us, like 23 of us ... some with kids, some single, a grandmother ... we need to make everyone happy and obviously we need reservations. We're coming from NH, RI, and SE Mass. We need family friendly, two don't eat red meat. We obviously couldn't go wrong with american fare or italian ? Any recommendations GREATLY appreciated!

Andy's Bistro in Cumberland, RI

i know this an old post, but i live right around the corner from Andrews and LOVE it, the service is always beyond superb, the ambiance - you forget where you are - and the food, just divine. My only problems in going there are the desserts, i have not at all been impressed by the choc cake (very dry), the creme puffs or cheesecake. if they could improve upon their desserts i could not find one thing wrong with this dining experience.

Romantic Inn with Great Restaurant - any rec.s?

my hubby and i went to the wentworth resort & spa in NH last yr for our 10 yr-they have a fabulous restaurant, beautiful rooms, very romantic area - close to portsmouth where there is great restaurants - we ate one night at The Library I think it was called, fabulous food . and shopping at the outlets in ME is not too far. We did a package deal with massages and champagne/strawberries for only like $275/nite. It was bliss.
