I grew up in Reseda & Las Fuentes was a regular spot for me as it's lil sister shop just 1/2 a block away called Melodys they are great too (reseda & Vanowen). Now that I live In Sylmar though I go to Carillos alot. It's good but in a more old school mexican food way. I think both are equal because they have their own perks. Firehouse #2 is another good suggestion... But Adrian's is a great place for Italian. It's family owned & the owners are always cooking in the kitchen. Cute little Austrian couple... Also in Van Nuys on Van Nuys just after Burbank is 4 & 20. Good food & just after that is another little mexican joint that I forgot the name but it's good has a big Orange sign...
Staples Center Dining . . . anyone tried Corkbar?
I was there on Saturday night & had a blast! It's a great place with really great people working there, very friendly. This is the type of place where you can ask any question about wine & not feel stupid! The food's great too! It's about 2 blocks from the Staples Center & there's a parking lot right across the street to park @. I say give it a try I know I'll be going back for sure! I know it will now be my stop before I go to any Staple Center events from now on.
