restaurants at cosmopolitan?

I had a good meal at DOCG - semi-casual Italian. Pizza was just ok but pastas and meat and cheese selection was good. Definitely try the fried stuffed olives.

Thoughts on Atlanta Steakhouses.

Hal's. Get the fillet (not the bone in version) and the creamed spinach. I recommend the truffle oil Mac and cheese too. For a more lively atmosphere reserve a table downstairs. For a quieter environment reserve one upstairs.

Best (and unique) appetizers to serve at a wine tasting?

Varietals are still to be determined. Likely will be a general American theme featuring under $20 bottles.
The food will be served during. Regarding the budget for ingredients, we're tryin to keep it fairly reasonable since we will be serving ~40 people.

Restaurant Advice Needed?

Swallow at the Hallow in Roswell may fit the bill. Good size portions and large pies for dessert. They often have live music making for a fun atmosphere.

Best toffee bark in Chicago?....please help jar my memory...

I used to live in Chicago and a vendor used to get us the best toffee bark I've ever had. It was made by a small mom & pop candy store in the suburbs of Chicago. The problem is, I can't remember the name of the place and I can't find them on the net either..... Any ideas?

chocolate covered strawberries with sugar/syrup coating?....like Dinstuhl's in Memphis? - [moved from General Chowounding board]

Anyone from Memphis knows all about Dinstuhl's chocolate covered strawberries... They have some kind of sugar/syrup coating between the strawberry and the chocolate. Anyone have any ideas how they do it? Or perhaps there is a similar recipe out there?....

My pregnant wife is craving these, and at $25 per half dozen.... I would love to make them myself....

Hello,
Any recommendations in Munich for quality traditional German food and of course beer? Any hotel recommendations or best areas of town for both lodging and food/drink are welcome as well. Thanks for the help.

Recommendations for large business dinner downtown Dallas?

I am hosting a business dinner for ~25 people downtown Dallas. Recommendations? Good food is criteria #1 but at least a decent atmosphere is #2. Would like to go somewhere unique to Dallas. BBQ maybe? Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
