Cafe Bravo is open in Silverlake!

Finally........Cafe Bravo has opened in Silverlake, at 2662 Griffith Park Blvd, right next door to Hard Times Pizza. I've been eating at CB in Glendale (1135 W Glenoaks Blvd) for years. Now the same delicious food (and a larger, more pleasant dining area) is available to Silverlake.

The Armenian/Middle Eastern food is very reasonably priced, portioned generously, and delicious! I usually get the Chicken Lule Kabob (2 large kabobs of marinated fresh ground chicken sitting atop a huge portion of delicious rice) that comes with Pita Bread and choice of 2 sides (Hummus, Tabbouleh, Ikra, Armenian Pickles, Pickled Turnips, Stolichnaya Salad, Yogurt w/spinach, Shirazi Salad, Cabbage Salad, Bean & Corn Salad or Grape Leaves) but everything I've had there is good........Lamb, Pork, Beef, Chicken Kabobs and a similar assortment of sandwiches.

The generous plates are priced around $6.50, a bargain! I've had most of the sides and can highly recommend the hummus, Tahini (not listed on the menu, but available and fabulous!), Yogurt w/spinach, Shirazi (Tomato & Cuke) Salad, Tabbouleh. One plate is usually enough for a hungry person, with leftovers! They are open 10am-9pm Mon-Fri, Sat 11:30am-9pm and closed Sunday. Very fast counter service, and pleasant informal dining area.
