He's not been there during the winter. Should be there later this spring/summer/fall.
Holiday Beer - What to Bring To Boston, MA
Also if you can find some of the Clipper City (now) Heavy Seas offerings out of Baltimore.
Holiday Beer - What to Bring To Boston, MA
Why would you be suspect of the short shelf life of 3F? Couldn't the same be said of the brews of Melonville?
Restaurant Highlights in Owings Mill/ Baltimore/ DC Area
You're probably staying at the HGI or the Hyatt Place. Owings Mills is kind of a funky/interesting dryspot. For loacl crabhouses there are two that are close to the two hotels. CJ's and Reter's are both on Reisterstown Rd. CJ's being closer to the two hotels. For soulfood, Granny's on Owings Mills Blvd is pretty good. Cibo's is also close but we haven't tried it so I'll let others speak to it. For a decent Jewish Deli, Lenny's on Reisterstown Rd is also a decent choice.

Emmitsburg, MD Food Recs?
You might want to make it a few more miles up 15 and hit Gettysburg. There can you dine at Dobbin House, pick the basement, and choose the French Onion Soup, Sweet bread (not sweetbreads) and finish off with warm Gingerbread.
89 Steinwehr Avenue (Business Route 15 South)

Or try Appalachian Brewing Company for some good pub food

or La Bella Italia for some great subs on great bread.
Emmitsburg, MD Food Recs?
If you're up for BBQ, between Mt. St. Mary's and Emmitsburg on 15, there is a good BBQ joint by the name of Chubby's BBQ. You can check out the websiter for a menu.

Gino's Hamburgers to make a comeback
There's a Roy's in Westminster and a couple in the Frederick & Hagerstown areas.
Gino's Hamburgers to make a comeback
That follows on reports of the first Farell's opening up in Orange County, CA in Nov.

Millstream Brewery Beer from Iowa in DC/NOVA Area??
Looking at their website, it looks like distribution is limited to IA, IL, WI, SD & WI.
You might try John's grocery in Iowa City to see if they can ship (see the FAQ, call to inquire, but not to MD unfortunately) http://www.johnsgrocery.com/index.html
Where to Find Western Pa.-style Polish Sausage in DC Area
A couple of places here in Baltimore that rival the garlicky goodness of Hamtramk, Michigan & the south side of Chicago.
Krakus Deli, owned and run by Polish folks. The fresh kielbasa is garlicky and great, the smoked hunter sausage is even better. Try the smoked sauasge mad eof ham & tenderloin as well. The Keishka is very evry good.

So Hounds, How many Beers?
Similar to Chinon, but I only use his level one and level two. Mine likes her beer as well so our arguments center around who drank the last Porter, Stout or Belgian Sour in the fridge.
Washington to NY-Crabs
Woody's Crabhouse in North East, MD is not too far off of I-95.
Menu & Directions at http://www.woodyscrabhouse.com/
From I-95, take Exit 100, MD-272, towards North East. Straight through the lights at Rt.40 and Rt. 7, and continue into town. It's on the right
Fat Tire heading east?
We get Bells nearby in PA, and having lived in MI & CO I'd take Founders or Great Lakes offerings here in MD ahead of Bells or FT, But I would add New Glarus offerings along with La Folie to my wish list. FT Amber is strikingly similar to Yuengling in taste and in fact when I go back to Moline, ILL they'd swap all of the Fat Tire they have for cases of Yuengling that they can't get there.
What are you drinking right now?
Enjoyed the Wailua when we were in the Islands for 2 weeks last month. I brought home a 6 of Maui Coconut Porter, which we really enjoyed while we were there. Had a Troegs Flying Mouflan that I've had in the basement over the summer.
Czech or Polish butcher in or near Alexandria
Well worth a trip is Krakus Deli in Baltimore. http://www.krakusdelibaltimore.com/
Among others they offer fresh sausages, Hams, Kishka and he smokes his own sausages there in the store. Especially good is the smoked, garlicky hunter sausage and pork tenderloin and ham kielbasa.
Searching for Unique DC Treats to Bring Home
Although I'm up in the Baltimore area, we always take back to Illinois three things: 1.) UTZ crab chips (potato chips seasoned with crab seasoning), 2. Berger cookies and a variety of different Tastycakes (and yes I know they're a philly thing).
key lime pie
Manny & Issa's Kitchen.....oops that's Islamorada.
Darn I wish I could get some of that KLP here in Baltimore.
Filling a Growler in Baltimore?
The B'Dubs in Westmister has been there for at least a year, but beyond the TV's for a football or Stanley Cup weekend we still make the drive up to Kclingers for their beer on tap choices. (This weekend had a Yuengling Bock, North Coast Pranqster and a Bell's Kalamazoo Stout on tap)
Or ABC had Cornerstone Espresso Stout on April 3rd which boasted an intense roast flavor from a blend of roasted barley and chocolate malt. With over 300 shots of espresso for the 140 gallon small batch it was deliciously smooth.
Filling a Growler in Baltimore?
Still have my DeGroen's growler, (damn I miss that place) but i get mine filled either at Appalachian Brewing in Gettysburg or Kclingers in Hanover. Since I live in Owings Mills I find it just as easy to head N or NW for beer.
Founders Breakfast Stout
Anyone know if Founder's Breakfast Stout is available in the Baltimore/York PA area?
Wells Discount Liquor had some Troegs Flying Mouflan as of Friday.
Where to buy good Kielbasa in DC?
Still prefer Krakus Deli for my fresh & smoked kielbasa here in Baltimore:
They now have a website and ship http://www.krakusdelibaltimore.com/
Fried Oysters
Try Reter's in Reisterstown. My wife ordered them Monday night and they were huge.
What's the deal with Ledo's pizza?
But the same issues apply to Imo's and the differences between locations. I've ordered from a number of them while in the area and can get quite a difference in toppings/sauce level available from the different stores. The only thing consistent is the Provel, the thinness of the crust and the cut of the pie.
Starter Korean Restaurant in Baltimore?
Try Shin Chon Garden in the Lotte Plaza in Ellicott City. Follow the link for more info.

Looked up the online listings for Beltway Fine Wines http://www.wineaccess.com/store/beltwayfinewine/
& Wells Discount Liquors http://www.wellswine.com/
Neither one shows Rittenhouse but I would still make a visit as both have a very large selection of Spirits, Wines & Beers.
