SAN SEBASTIEN: MUGARITZ, ARZAK OR AKELLARE?

I will be in San Sebastien, Madrid and Barcelona later this summer. I can't decide which of the many Mich. star restaurants to go to in San Sebastien. I am mainly debating between Arzak, Mugaritz and Akellare. I am very very torn between these three. While I'm really into trying on of these, I'm also not the most adventurous eater, so basically my question is-which is the best restaurant for someone with slightly less adventurous eating habits-but still likes trying new things. I should add my husband will eat and try anything!

2 Nights in Venice - Need Restaurant Advice!!!

Thank you for these suggestions. As of now, we are leaning toward Alla Testiere and am debating between Fiascheterria Toscana and Da Ivo, or maybe Il Rufolo. I am reading the boards and just can't decide!!

2 Nights in Venice - Need Restaurant Advice!!!

I am trying to decide where to eat in Venice. My husband and I will be there for only 2 nights so we want to make them count! My list so far includes: Alla Testiere, A Beccafico, Fiascheterria Toscana, and Da Ivo, but we can't seem to narrow it down! We would love to have good seafood one night, and possibly meat the second night. (We were in Tuscany last year and would love to find a good Bistecca Fiorentina if at all possible!) Any recommendations on where to go for lunch or dinner? Thanks!!!

Dining in Tuscany

Thank you for these suggestions! Do you have any other recommendations for the San Casciano area? I appreciate the insight!

Dining in Tuscany

I will be staying at the Villa Mangiacane this summer. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes outside of Florence in the town San Casciano. Does anyone have any restaurant suggestions in this area? Also, any suggestions on where to eat lunch in Siena if only there for one day?

Italy Honeymoon End of May

TThanks for Cetara recommendation! In Tuscany, we plan on seeing Florence for one day and Siena for one day. (We may not end up making it to Lucca!) We will have 2 full days to relax at our hotel. We will also have a car to make it easier to get around.

Italy Honeymoon End of May

Hi, I am going on my honeymoon to Italy at the end of May-beginning of June. Our itinerary is as follows: 4 nights in Tuscany, staying at the Villa Mangiacane, which is approximately 10 minutes outside of Florence. The plan is to see Florence as well as Tuscany (probably Siena and Lucca). Then we are going to Positano for 3 nights where we are staying at the Poseidon. We are then spending 1 night in Capri, followed by the last 3 nights in Rome. Any suggestions on restaurants to visit? I have been told about Santo Padre in Rome and La Giostra in Florence? I am looking for other suggestions for Florence/Tuscany/Positano and Rome. We are looking for local restaurants, not too touristy! I would appreciate any advice! Thank you!
