Les Halles ... Les Horror
Went to breakfast [uptown branch] a few days ago and had one of the worst dining experiences ever. Dining is actually too dignified a word for the experience. In a less than half full restaurant the service was lost in action. Aside from seeing the waiter once, the entire meal was bus boy attended. With so few patrons you have to wonder how the kitchen still managed to get most of the food out cold. The only thing that came out hot was the very burnt bacon. There didnt seem to be anyone in charge of the room and the staff, what we saw of them, could care less. Perhaps if the food had been served properly it mignt have tasted good but who's to know. In a city with so many good places to eat and where the word service is valued as an important part of a meal, there is little reason in my opinion to spend your time or money here.
