[Visalia, Fresno] Where to get Chanterelle Mushrooms
Hi all,
I'm new to Chowhound, and have searched, but can't seem to find any info in the California board. Does anyone know of a place to get Chanterelle mushrooms in the Visalia, Fresno, Bakersfield areas? I live in Visalia, but would be willing to travel to Fresno or Bakersfield.
See, I'm a weekend Dutch Oven cook, and I am expanding my horizons :)

Hi dimsumgirl. "Acequia on Main" and "Cafe 225" are both still there. I like Fugazzi's which is just east of those a bit.
If you are looking for good chinese, head down Mooney Blvd. to China Garden which is next to Baskin Robins.
There is a new Japanese Sushi Restaurant on Main street called Akamaru's. VERY good sushi at a decent price.
