Reasonably Priced Restaurant in NYC?

Hi,
Can someone please recommend a delicious, reasonably priced restaurant in NYC? My husband and I are staying on Park and 66th so something relatively close would be good. We had reservations at Le Cirque but the couple we are dining with would prefer something closer to the $150 a couple. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Open to all kinds of food except raw as I am currently pregnant. Thanks!

Hosting Baby Shower near Union City

I am looking for a nice restaurant to have either an afternoon tea or a nice lunch to host a baby shower for four to five people. It has to be somewhat near Union City and I'm not familiar with that area, can anyone suggest a nice venue for a baby shower? Thank you!

Beatles Themed Potluck

Hi Chowhounders!
I need your help! I am going to be attending a potluck and the theme is food inspired by Beatle's songs. Other than Strawberry Fields Forever, I can't think of any other food references in their songs. Any suggestions for clever dishes to bring for this potluck?

Where [in SF proper] should a Chowhound live?

I have to recommend my hood, I live in Russian Hill at Larkin and Vallejo and there are a myriad of dining options within three blocks of me. I can go down to Polk and eat at Le Petit Robert, Pesce, Bar Johnny, Antica Trattoria, Yabbies, Polkers, Nick's Crisy Tacos, Extreme Pizza, Aux Delices Vietnamese, Rex Cafe, La Folie, Wasabi & Ginger, Lemongrass Thai, Andy's Chinese. If I go up to Hyde then there is Luella, Zarzuela, Frascati, Za Pizza, Sushi Groove South, Hyde Street Bistro, Hyde Street Seafood House, 1550 Hyde. This is all within ten minutes or less walking. It's an awesome place to live.

Fish & Chips

I just had some fish and chips yesterday at Kate O'Brians (located at 2nd and Market) and found them to be quite delectable. I've also heard excellent things about The Irish Bank.

Please help me find the best Chinese, Thai, and Sushi in the city.

Oops my bad! That's what I meant, I was totally thinking of khan toke in the outer richmond. Sorry about that!

Please help me find the best Chinese, Thai, and Sushi in the city.

My favorite sushi place in San Francisco is Kabuto on Geary and 14th. They are best known for their sashimi but their rolls are good too. They also have a really innovative menu with lots of interesting rolls such as a hamachi ceviche roll. My favorites are the sunrise roll (salmon around rice topped with tobiko and a raw quail egg) and the escolar, wahoo, ono and hamachi belly sashimi.
For Thai I like to go to Khan Toke, really good Thai food, lovely ambiance and reasonable prices. It's located way out on Geary and 22nd.
For Chinese, the best are San Tung in the outer richmond, their dry fried crispy chicken wings are a must try and R and G Lounge in Chinatown for their deep fried salt and pepper crab and their peking duck. Yum!

Best slice of pizza in SF?

I second Pizza Pomodoro on Kearney, they have this really good pizza with thin slice of red potato. Definitely worth trying.
Also I don't know if it's still open but Pizzetta 211 on California way out in the avenues (I think like 22nd or so) has really good, more gourmet type pizza.
I also enjoy a quick down and dirty slice at Nizarios on Geary and 2nd.
