Where to buy a flavor injector in GTA

I picked up the "Chef Williams Cajun Injector Deluxe Marinade Injector" in your link from the Goemans Appliances in Mississauga at Dundas and 403 a little while ago. The only times I've ever used it have been for deep-frying turkeys, but it performs this limited function well!

Question about Nazareth veg dish

Yep, their veggie platter is pretty much the standard 4 or 5 items (pretty sure it's 5), but it is really good. The menu in that link looks very old, as they now have a couple of seafood options (the fish being better than the "seafood stew"), and the prices have risen about $1 per dish. Still an incredible value and a fantastic place.
The one drawback is that the service can get pretty slow during busy times, as the owner basically runs the whole show (with one cook in the back). Consider that if you've got somewhere to be right after dinner.

King Palace

It is still really good, and open until 6am every day to boot! I've only been going since they moved, but yes, they're now on Church, just East of Yonge. You can eat in or do take out. Just microwave it yourself, when you get home, if you're doing take out.
If it's your first time going, don't be put off by the gigantic and overly confusing menu of every imaginable combination; just pick out a few items and tell them you want that with rice, as a combo.

Toronto Pubs for group of friends

I can't imagine you'd be able to get seating for 15-20 people at The Vic. As others have mentioned, C'est What? has a good selection of beers, and they'd probably be able to seat that many people. Never tried their food, tho.

Cast Iron Pan

Agreed with Canadian Tire having the best prices. They also had the best selection of sizes when I was shopping for mine a few months ago (Yonge just north of Bloor). Lodge seems to be, by far, the most popular brand, and mine has worked beautifully.
Although they come "pre-seasoned", this seasoning is not what you want to be cooking on, and it's certainly very different from the jet-black, slick finish you might recall from your grandma's old pans. The method I used to season mine was from this thread:

Scroll down and follow the directions from "acmorris". She really knows what she's talking about, and I'm very happy with the way mine turned out.

Wanted - Butcher selling organic, hormone free, free run/cage free, grass fed beef and chicken

They also carry Baretta products at Whole Foods and at Witteveen Meats at the SLM.

Farm-fresh eggs?

Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen that. I don't think they're selling pies, but their eggs really are delicious. Be sure to get there early for the brown eggs as they've been selling out quite fast the last few weeks.

Chicken shawarma on Yonge between College and Dundas

I think it's a really terrible name for a restaurant - especially a middle eastern restaurant. There used to be a second location in Mississauga when I lived there, and I often wondered if I should have gone in to tell the proprietor how much the name "Something 2 Talk About" was hurting his business. I mean, how could there not be a better name?
