Where to eat in Pittsburgh?

Coming to visit Pittsburgh for the weekend and looking for some places to eat for all meals of the day. I am open to all suggestions and will eat anything. Any great brunch, lunch, or dinner places out there that ware must eats?

Major Ramen craving

Obento-Ya has a Ramen special on Monday nights but also now they have a Nomikai Draft pass every night after 8pm and Ramen is available then too.

Breakfast Tacos

I have been meaning to try out Rusty Taco for theirs, haven't done that yet. It is odd the small things you miss when you movie away from somewhere. Yes please let me know if you find any others or if Pineda turns out to be a winner.

Breakfast Tacos

I had a discussion last night with someone about missing eating breakfast tacos when we lived in TX. Are there any places in the cities that do good breakfast tacos?

Where to find Turkey Breast?

Looking for turkey breast that aren't pre brined or have any preservatives in them. Anyone know of a place to buy them?

KC BBQ Sauce question.

How is the Arthur Bryant's spicy?

KC BBQ Sauce question.

This is a weird question but I am from out of town and was going to take some BBQ sauce back to my state with me. Trying to figure out which would be the best KC BBQ sauces to pick up. I see that Arthur Bryant's, Gates, Bigg's, Smokehouse, and many others have sauces in a grocery store. Any suggestions. I have friends who love BBQ so just wanted to take some back for them to try.

St. Paul Breakfast / Brunch Places

Yeah I was wondering that too... If you Google "Scusi Brunch" it does give you this link to their site: http://scusistpaul.com/menu-brunch.html and it shows a bunch menu and the menuing on the left is formatted differently. So I am not entirely sure.

St. Paul Breakfast / Brunch Places

I agree, it is a must try for brunch. Hope you remember to give an update after you do try it, I would like to know what your thoughts are.

St. Paul Breakfast / Brunch Places

I am not a giant ham person but I do enjoy the ham on the Logger's Tower or the Breakfast sandwich. I've tried at least half of the things on the brunch menu and enjoy them all. The Pork Belly dish they had the last time I was there (it was different today) was with a kimchee pancake...so good. Bon Vie is much closer to my house, but we wanted to go to the farmer's market afterwards so worked out.

I will add Meritage to my list.

And when people talk about price... I just think I'm geting a good deal when getting the Logger's Tower... 3 pancakes, 3 eggs, and 3 slices of ham for $10... I never can finish it but just comforting and so good.

St. Paul Breakfast / Brunch Places

Oh I love their brunch. I go there probably once a month or two for brunch if I can't think of anywhere else to go. Normally the menu is either different or two or so of the dishes will have a different preparation than it did last time (most likely the pork belly dishes.) The Strip Club is one of my favorite restaurants in the cities for Brunch or Dinner. I took a friend this morning who had never been there and she throughly enjoyed it. I would recommend trying them for brunch.

I ended up going to my default... The Strip Club but I plan on going to Bon Vie very soon. I have added it to my list of places to go.

St. Paul Breakfast / Brunch Places

I went to Day by Day a few months ago and I wasn't impressed at all.

How is the food if not an Eggs Benedict fan? (I know blasphemy right)

St. Paul Breakfast / Brunch Places

Looking for a great place to go for breakfast or brunch in St. Paul. All suggestions welcome.

Cheesecake - Dessert Date

I believe that Cafe Latte is going to be my choice. Doesn't seem like I have many other options. :)

Cheesecake - Dessert Date

Sad thing about Patisserie 46 is that they close at 6pm.

Cheesecake - Dessert Date

Looking for a place to go and grab a piece of cheese cake and just sit and converse with my date. Does anyone know of a place that makes very good cheese cake and you are able to just walk in and get a slice and sit down?

Odd request... Good Salads.

Looking for a place that has good salads. Either a place to go and get them to go or even a sit down restaurant that has good salads.

Seafood Restaurant (Non-fried)

Looking for a nice seafood restaurant to go to for a birthday. I enjoy places like Sea Salt and Anchor but we aren't in the mood for fried fish. What are some of the good seafood places in the cities?

Waffles?

Is there a good place in the cities to go and get good waffles? Or cheap waffles at least.

Soul Daddy

I went there yesterday for lunch...and maybe I am slightly biased as I am from the South but I wasn't impressed with the food. Granted... I am not saying it was horrible but maybe it is just too commercialized. I do hope some of the stuff is just a first week thing (Like some of the employees seeming like deer in headlights.)

Biscuit: Too dry and dense. Kind of felt like a brick when it was sitting on the plate.

Grits: I am a giant fan of grits and I would say there were rather bland. Like one other post said, it just seemed like they added yellow food coloring. The grits needed some more salt and just all around flavor.

Collards: IMO...too crunchy... could have been cooked longer

Sauces: Personal preference I guess on these. I did like the mustard base cause and the hot sauce was just a hot sauce.

I'm not saying not try it. Go and make your own opinions...but I would probably wait a week and hope they get some of these things fixed.

First date suggestions for St. Paul?

Thank you very much.
I believe there was another...possible first date going on there last night. It was a very quiet place so there weren't any distractions when trying to conversation. Wait staff was very good. I'd go back for date or just dinner.

First date suggestions for St. Paul?

We ended up going to Tanpopo. Thank you for the suggestion. We enjoyed the food and was exactly what I was looking for.

How is Barrio for noise levels on a Friday night?

First date suggestions for St. Paul?

I've been to Meritage before, I don't think that will fit the "nothing fancy" part of the date clause. :)

First date suggestions for St. Paul?

Looking for somewhere in St. Paul, that is good but isn't a chain. Type of food really doesn't matter. I like trying new places and can't really think of anywhere to go for a date. Would like somewhere that isn't loud since it will be a first date and would like to talk to my date. Any suggestions?

Oh this is what she told me: "You are in charge of location: nothing fancy, please."

Food suggestions for Pittsburgh?

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I am gonna try Brgr for a late lunch here and a nice couple mile walk there. Gonna try going to The Strip tomorrow or Saturday for lunch I think. A lot of Dinner places listed. Also, any Breakfast recommendations for Tomorrow or Saturday? I love a good breakfast/brunch...and doesn't even have to be traditional.
