Best meal I ever ate:
1989, roommate drove in late with a cooler full of oysters he'd picked himself on the Texas coast. I had never tasted an oyster - our houseful of slacker kids sucked them down with tabasco, saltines and cheap whiskey. They tasted like the ocean, so incredibly good.

Buttermilk

Noodles. No, potatoes. Oh heck, noodles and potatoes at the same time! Long live the potato pierogi
