Spiciest Ethiopian dishes?

I'm travelling to DC this weekend and have staked out a bunch of Ethiopian places I want to try (based on my searches here), but I'm travelling/dining with someone who requires high levels of spiciness. I want him to have a really good impression of Ethiopian food (we're in NYC and it's good but I don't think it impressed him) and thus the hotter the better. (yes, I know he's missing the subtleties of cuisine but I can't change that about him!)

Can anyone recommend the spiciest Ethiopian dishes? Is there a condiment which is usually added but has to be asked for specifically?

Just an aside, based on suggestions here I'm going try to go to at least one of the following: Etete, Dukem, Ethiopic, Zenebech. Can you recommend one of these that is more likely to have the spiciest?

Sri Lankan in the outer boroughs?

Watching No Reservations tonight, I started jonesing for Sri Lankan food. I have only ever had it at Lakruwana (their Manhattan outpost which seems to be no more) which was always incredibly delicious, always interesting. I have found a couple of places in Staten Island that look promising. What are your favorites of the SI places? Are the pretty easy to get to from the ferry terminal? Anyone know of anything else around NYC? Feel free to include anything in Manhattan as well.

What's your favorite lounge-y food place?

Where do you like to go for good food where the setup is kind of lounge-y, with low tables, couches, etc. Preferably in Brooklyn, but really I would love to hear about any borough. Any kind of food, but preferably good and unique. That's not so much to ask for in NYC, is it?

Dosa Diner is closed

I only tried this place once and wasn't overly impressed. I prefer the dosas at Rajbog around the corner...I don't think they have as many choices as Dosa Diner but what they do have is worlds better.

Chez Lola on Myrtle...what/how is it?

I just rode by Chez Lola on Myrtle and Clermont. Just read some stuff elsewhere that it's run by the Chez Oscar people. Any word on it? Is it open? I couldn't get a good look as they had their grate down when I went by.

Suggest a restaurant in Little Italy

Best advice: avoid Little Italy.

Whole Foods update

I'm so over Whole Foods....Trader Joe's helped me see the light. Anyone hear rumors of TJs opening a Brooklyn store?

Great coffee in Brooklyn

I really like Pillow Cafe on Myrtle and Adelphi. I know the owners so I am biaised, but I only went there for the first time a few days ago, and I really loved their coffee. I had a hummus and avocado sandwich and LOVED it. I think this might be my new place to hang out.
