Review of Masala Wok, Hicksville, Long island
We went there last Friday for dinner. The entire restaurant was empty. Since my 2 year old was asleep, we requested the server that we be allowed to sit on the booth at the end of the room. He flatly refused and told us that they only allow 8 people to sit there.
The food also was very disappointing. The shrimp starter was supposed to be tiger shrimp. They were only slightly larger than regular shrimp. We ordered the chicken in black pepper sauce as the entree. There was no sauce at all. It was bone dry and also had no salt or any taste at all. The server was totally indifferent to this and offered us a salt shaker !!!! The portions are very small and are not worth the price which they charge. I will never visit this place again.
