Best Boston Burger
The Marvin Haggler at Coolidge Corner Clubhouse is one of my favorites: bacon and blue cheese. They have about 16 burgers to choose from. You also get a massive pile of fries. Definitely not a gourmet meal but more than worth trying. Also don't order it as take out because it gets cold freakishly fast. Eat there and watch a sports game.
UPPER CRUST goin Down
I live right near the Brookline Upper Crust and pass by it every day. For the past week (at least) the lights have been off and the chairs pushed in the corner, during dinner hours when they used to be open. Perhaps their mediocre pizza is the cause.
Liver + Onion Lunch?
Petit Robert Bistro in Kenmore serves calf liver and onions for brunch on the weekends. I went there with 3 other people and of the four dishes ordered my liver and onions was the best; they had great flavor but the liver was a tad dry. I would still recommend it though.
