Romantic restaurants in St. Louis

Very sad indeed... When I went there for my birthday I was seated before my reservation time. We had excellent service and didnt notice it being hot, even though it was in August. They gave me a card and even the owner stopped by our table and wished me happy bday. They also put a candle in the dessert brownie. It made for a very special evening.

Good Mexican in St. Louis

The new Chuys is a bit different though.

I had to eat at Haciendo 3 times to find something that I liked. Why my family drags me there i have no idea.

Chimichangas on South Grand is my favorite, always great service and the best priced Mexican in town.

El Ranchito in Ucity is my second favorite. Very large, clean place as well.

St. Louis: any place in Dogtown allow dogs?

The only place I can think of off the top of my head is Cairdeas Coffee(www.cairdeascoffee.com) and LaGra(www.saucemagazine.com/lagra) right next door on Tamm but I know there are several open patios in the area. You can probably just take a walk and find them all.

STL area lunch rec with river views?

I found another one Vin De Set(www.vindeset.com)

STL area lunch rec with river views?

I would reccomend the Grafton Winery(www.thegraftonwinery.com). I was there a couple weeks ago. Its brand new and the view it amazing.

STL area lunch rec with river views?

The loading dock has a nice view but i think its more of a bar atmosphere than quality restaurant food. See for yourself http://www.graftonloadingdock.com/Menu/menu.htm

Schafly Brewbubs: St. Louis

The Tap Room is a bar atmosphere and food with a nice sized menu.

Bottleworks has a nice and cozy restaurant feel with a very electic menu.

I think both are great though.

Visiting St. Louis area

There is nothing to do in wright city, please make your way to the city to experience what St. Louis is really like. It seems to me that WC is only an hour but maybe with traffic it is farther. Enjoy!

Downtown Detroit Eats?

I'm visiting Detroit from St. Louis for the 4th time next month and I'm determined to have a good meal there. I haven't really had much luck in the past.

Can you please point me in the right direction. We would like to stay in the downtown area for convenience but we will have a car. Any type of food welcome and Im always open to try new things. We also like young trendy places are all under 30. Looking for low-midprice range, as my SO isnt the coat and tie type.

Thanks!
