Bosch Evolution 700 Series HDS7052U. There's also the perk of the half shelf and the warming oven.

Picnic Table spot in Central Park close to a bathroom for my 90-year old Dad?

I will scope this out, definitely. Most grateful!

This sounds like a brilliant solution. I'll ask the Pinetum people how we might make it work ... Thanks!

I'm here in Chicago -- so does that space outside Tavern on the Green contain a public seating area?

Picnic Table spot in Central Park close to a bathroom for my 90-year old Dad?

Our family (say about 10 people) would love to find a shady bucolic place with picnic tables in Central Park for a July birthday party - some place with bathrooms nearby and also a place that is not more than 10-15 minutes walking to the nearest bus ... with a cane. Can be on East or West Side. A tough order I know but he'd just love it. We'd also love some recs for bento boxes. Thanks, Nancy

I'm planning my Dad's 90th birthday in Central Park. Did you locate any great picnic boxes in the end, and picnic tables in the park? The better the access for my dad the better. Thanks, e2nyc. Nancy

Best Thai in Chicago

In Lakeview, between Sheridan Road and Diversey, is an outstanding little neighborhood restaurant called Miss Asia. The Duck Curry with Lychees, pineapple and basil cooked in red curry is succulent, bursting with flavor and only $9.95. Although I think their takeout business may be bigger than their eat-in, the decor is actually beautiful with sculptures not only on the walls but between tables. Very romantic. They also have Camboidan dishes like Beef in Tamarind Curry (with pumpkin and pineapples) and Indian dishes like samosas and grilled fish with "pakistani spices." I'm salivating as I write this ...

Oops. Almost forgot the most adorable culinary experience next to a laundromat! of all places! It's a Wine Bar called "Apres" located at 3668 US 50 (207/664-4085) in the plaza that also houses Powderhouse Ski Shop. Atmospheric, with the latest European technology that allows you to sample a host of wines. A glass arrives actually in a very generous carafe, and the platters are also extraordinarily generous. We took the "Charcuterie" and ended up with three different platters for the price of one: first the truffle and fruit butter on toasted pita triangles that tasted freshly baked, followed by an excellent cheese and meats platter with memorable olives and then a third plate of exceptionally fresh, flavorful strawberries and dried figs and other goodies. Excellent value. And the host, LJ Martin, is a gentleman and a pioneer. I'd definitely go again.

We had a first class prime rib dinner at Chart House (392 Kingsbury Grade, Stateline, NV , (775) 588-6276). We started the evening off with fresh oysters (with actual salinated, oyster liqueur still in the shells). Followed by a crunchy citrusy Chopped Salad, a juicy, succulent prime rib (as in right off the bone) with all the accoutrements (chives, fresh horseradish or horseradish cream) with sides of creamed spinach and a little mound of mashed potatoes with crispy thingies on top. Was in heaven!
