best charcoal grill

yes. i've been looking at the performer. great concept. when my 18.5" weber dies it will be replaced by the performer. my problem is finding a great second grill with high capacity.

best charcoal grill

that looks great. i'm on the search for one now. thanks.

best charcoal grill

very interesting. i've being watching the egg phenom. for a while...around 8 years. for some reason i have not been compelled to get one. not sure why, although i think originally it was because of the limited cooking capacity. at that time i decided to go with a off-set smoker/grill with a cooking capacity of over 600 sft. but i must admit i need to take another look at the egg.

best charcoal grill

looking to buy a news charcoal grill. love my webber but what something in addition to it that has a larger capacity. stainless steel with side tables would be a plus. even better would be a side burner that operates on gas for cooking sides. maybe i should just design one.

HELP needed to find street food vendors

i'm doing a photo project on street food vendors in dc area that are willing to be photographed. i need a diverse selection. i've got the burrito guys on K st. i had a pupusa lady (maria - truck name is aqui y alli) in arlington but she relocated and i can't find her. i know what i'm looking for is:

1. a diverse (as in what they serve)list of vendors with addresses
2. if you know where maria and her truck "aqui y alli" relocated
3. if you know of some arlington cty or dc official with is a liason with vendors that could do the intro. because soooo many vendors are leary of being photographed.

any help would be gratly appreciated.

your favorite uses for a food mill

trying to justify the purchase of a food mill. but wondering how much i would really use it. so what are your favorite uses for yours?

food mill to make red chile

ok. so i'm not nuts to think about doing this.

to be honest, i'm just trying to justify buying a food mill. i don't make applesauce or eat many potatoes, so i'm struggling to justify the purchase. maybe i should do a post on the cookware forum and see what everyone's favorite use for their food mill is.
thanks for the responses.

Favorite Thai restaurants in D.C., nothern Virginia?

ditto on bangkok 54 and a few others. has anyone tried urban thai in crystal city. pretty good.

food mill to make red chile

has anyone tried using a food mill to make red chile from pods to keep seeds and skin out of the dish. sometimes i don't mind the seeds and tiny peelings, but it's a finer sauce without them.
