Milwaukee - swanky rehearsal dinner venue suggestions?
Hello,
I'm looking for a wedding rehearsal venue for my upcoming big event in August.
I'm from Madison, so any local insider opinion you could provide on Milwaukee restaurants would be a great help!
Here's what I'm looking for:
* Good for party of 20-25.
* Semi-fancy/upscale - currently I'm looking at hotel Metro's zen on seven, cuvee, hinterland, etc
* If the restaurant has private dinning or nice lounge place that'll be a great plus.

Soul Food in Philly?
My fiance and I are soul food lovers. This year we decided to welcome the new year in Philadelphia. A quick search on Yelp suggests Elena's Soul Lounge in Cedar Park, but I'm wondering if there are more that you can recommend.
Our hotel is Penn Center/Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, and we're without a car. We'll be staying from 12/30-1/3, so with that much time, we're thinking that it'd be good for our soul to do different neighborhood excursions as much as possible. Thanks for your help in advance!

I'm sure this happened long time ago, but while I was away from SFBA to attend a grad school in Wisconsin, Pasta Pacifico in Berkeley apparently closed.
Does anyone know if they have relocated to somewhere else?
I was avid fan of their olive bread (swear, it was the best in the bay area). Are there any other italian bread compatible to PP's?

Minneapolis chowdown
Hello. My fellow foodie friend and I are planning a weekend trip to Minneapolis, MN. We live in Madison, WI and just randomly decided to take a peak at our neighbor and what the city has to offer. We're looking for:
Must-go local eats (both cheap and upper scale): restaurants, dinner, cafe ... etc.
local dive bar institution or something casual like for nightlife
Is there something very unique in Minneapolis or MN in general?
In all, we don't have to do the touristy stuff, but love to pig out on the best of Minneapolis. I would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know your favorite places.
