best or favourite market in the world?

In Chicago I would have to say that Chicago Food Corp is the best Korean market with expepensive prices on the foods needed for asian coooking. If you live in the Western or Northwestern suburbs then H-Mart is also a great place to shop.

Has anyone heard of a drink called an Easy Livin' (sometimes spelled Easy Living)?

I thought this drink referred to when you mix several kinds of sodas/juices together. But some friends told me that was called a Suicide. a google search turned up two recipes that were completely different from each other and both included alcohol. does anyone know the real recipe for this drink?

Asian Market near Wicker Park

Chicago Food Corp is the mecca of Korean food supplies and is really all you need. However, if you want to travel a little farther north to K-town you can find additional grocery stores on Lawrence and Bryn Mawr.

Goya Refresco soda (coconut)

What neighbor hood are you shopping in? I used to always find it in the Spanish groceries in Humbolt Park and Logan Square. I have also found it in stores along Pulaski south of Midway. Sorry I don't have any names of stores, I have not drank this since I was 10 years old but now that you have rekindled old memories I will be on the look out for it and post the names of any stores I come across that carry it. Good luck.

Where to Find Japanese Panko Bread Crumbs?

There is an Asian market located on Ogden Avenue just west of Kingery (Rt 83). Its on the North side of Ogden and set back in a strip mall. I am sorry but I don't recall the name (just a guess, it might be called di-ho market but I am only 30% sure on that). In any case you should be able to find panko crumbs there.
OMT, they really do make a difference in your seafood and asian recipes. Good Luck.

Anyone know a good source for fish stock?

I haven't been to Davis Street Fish Market in Evanston for years so call first to see if they have it but I remember they made amazing soups - and everything else - when I used to frequent their establishment about 9 years ago. Also you may want to try specialty stores such as Whole Foods or Trader Joes. Good Luck.
