Looking for a non-BBQ restaurant in Koreatown

I'm looking for a good restaurant that's not expensive for a group of 6 or 8. I'm having my birthday at a bar in K-town and I'd like to go to dinner before-hand but don't want BBQ. Any suggestions? Also, I'd love to find a place that has a little bit of ambiance. :)

Best Produce in Santa Monica?

I'm looking for either large or small. I think Whole Foods is overpriced, but I do like their quality. I'd love to find any market on the westside that has farmer's market quality produce with cheap prices. But that might be a tall order. Haha

The Co-op is a good idea though. I seem to always forget about that place.

Best Produce in Santa Monica?

There are no farmer's markets on Mondays as far as I know, but I wanted to pick up some quality produce at good prices. Anyone know which markets are best?

Anyone been to Sushi King Lately?

I just went to Sushi King and it's still good. My faves are still the yellowtail, albacore, and their green bean salad. Another good westside sushi place is Musha. Their menu a lot more extensive than Sushi King or Hide, but you won't break the bank. Happy eating!

Cooking with Greek Yogurt....

I just made tomato soup and substituted greek yogurt for cream. I've whisked it in, and it still won't blend completely. There a lots of little white specs all through it. Is there any way to salvage the soup??

lunch in malibu?

Try the 'Reel Inn'. It's not fussy but super fun. You order at the counter and sit at tables inside our outside. They have fish of course, but also have lots of other stuff to choose from. It's definitely not fancy, but it's Malibu. For something more upscale, you could go to the Saddle Peak Lodge. It's really pretty and serves up some amazing different game meats.
