Donatella or Bottino for dinner?

I am looking for a place to have dinner (total of 4 people) in Chelsea before going to the Sleep No More production on the way westside. Bottino and Donatella both look like decent options but I haven't eaten at either of them and both have mixed reviews. Anyone been to either recently and have a preference?

Anyone been to a.ktichen?

I have a reservation this weekend and would love to hear about others' experiences. Anything I should definitely order or avoid? Thanks!

We are more seafood eaters than steak. What are other things that have a similar fun/NYC vibe like stanton social.

DAD AND BRO COMING IN!! Dinner recs PLEASE

These are great recs. Thanks. Keens is too far north. I was thinking something with the atmosphere of Extra Virgin or Stanton Social. but please, keep the recommendations coming!

DAD AND BRO COMING IN!! Dinner recs PLEASE

My dad (60 yrs old) and brother (24 yrs old) are coming into the city on the 19th. We are going to see a show at SOBs but I want to show them how fantastic the restaurants are in NYC. Nothing too expensive, and no Chinese.

Also SOBs in downtown, so please nothing uptown! HELP!!

Quitting Gristedes - need better place downtown

oh and i forgot... i use fresh direct as well. it is by far the cheapest and the quality is good. I like it for things i know i will need every week. also, for stuff like paper towels, TIDE, etc. that are bulky, it lets you not have to shlep it home!

Quitting Gristedes - need better place downtown

I would recommend Amish Market. There are two locations, but the on one Church and Chambers is awesome. Fresh, clean, and has some unique stuff a well as standards. The Gristedes are awful downtown. Also, what about Jubilee.

Cookies that look and taste like homemade.

I am not sure exactly why someone would not like Levain's cookies. they are amazing! and who cares if they are huge and thick... cut them in half or into forths. Then not only is it more manageable but you can try more than one type!!

Need a Rec for a place with an atmosphere like Citrus Bar and Grill

Although i know some people arent that excited about the food at this UWS place, i think the scene is a great mix of young/fun without being stuffy. I have friends in their twenties coming into town, and would love to go to another place with this type of atmosphere... HELP!!

Any fun places in the financial district?

Just moved way downtown and would love to know where fun bars/restaurants are in the financial district? Especially places that would be good for a group of girls
