Hello,
This is probably our fourth trip to taos for skiing. We're from Cape Cod, massachusetts and it's quite a long trip but worth it? We are staying again at snakedance and arriving this Feb.2013. Any suggestions for eating out? Your last response was great....we enjoy antonios for lunch, edelweiss for dinner last year--not sure if it is the same chef this year. St. Bernard we ate a few times.....any new suggestions or comments this year on the above would be appreciated. Thank you all for your responses.

My husband and I are returning to Taos in March. We've been to Rellenos which was good....they have two other restaurants---Antonio's and Sabor......does anyone have any reviews on them? Which restaurant is the best choice for lunch?

Thank you for your recommendation---I ordered a certificate for Praire Star ---we're staying in santa ana pueblo for a conference after skiing -March 12-15th----would you recommend OBL in Taos buying a dining certificate---is it on the mountain?

Thank you for responding----we too enjoy simple dinners when we're on a ski vacation. We're staying at Snakedance---looks quite nice. Do you know anything about these condos? We plan on enjoying cocktails on our deck, plenty of chips and salsa! Where would you suggest the best pizza (my favorite)? Thanks to all for your input!! My husband was in Taos many years ago---loved Tim's Stray Dog.

Hi,

I'm new to Chowhound and have heard from numerous people how great this website is. My husband and I are going to Taos NM skiing next month. Any suggestions on restaurants would be helpful. Also, we'll probably be spending some time in Alburquerque. We love New Mexican food (really authentic). Appreciate any suggestions.
