Best and Worst Cooking Shows
If one is truly bored, go read the comments on Sandra Lee's recipes on the food network site. They are quite funny. One commentator said that making mashed potatoes from scratch was too difficult. Thinking this shows her base.

Totally Disgusted at Supermarket--Am I too Finicky?
What I find disturbing about a lot of supermarkets is rotten produce still on the shelf, fish counters that stink and freezers that aren't cold enough.
Paper, plastic or BYOB?
I love my reusable wine bags. I have some that will hold 6 bottles of wine and one that holds 4 with a section in the middle for other groceries. Without these bags the wine would either be put into a wine box that holds 12 bottles or else would be put into a single plastic bag per bottle and then put into another plastic bag with two bottles of wine. Btw, sometimes the plastic bags broke and created a huge mess.
Food that Most People Love and You Don't...
Bananas, or anything with bananas in it. Green bell peppers but the red, yellow and orange ones are great. Deli or packaged lunch meats that have nothing in common with the original meats. I feel that for sammies I am reduced to salami or tuna. Processed chicken patties that are shaped to look like something else.
What was the worst food you HAD to eat as a kid?
When I was 4, my mom put a lot of work into making kidney stew. I can still remember the strong smell of urine in it. ugh
