I will be dining at Aja in the Dana Hotel this weekend and was wondering if there is a dress code? I know OpenTable.com says "smart casual" but what was wondering if that is true to form?
Best Steak/ Steakhouse on a budget?
I want to take out my boyfriend to a steak dinner for his birthday. Unfortunately, I am a college student on a budget but still enjoy QUALITY food. Damn my good-taste! Anyways, could anyone give me some advice on where to go and/or where to avoid (because of cost or other issues) ?
Best Dim Sum in Chicago?
We just moved downtown Chicago and would love some GOOD dim sum. I My boyfriend is Asian and we like to eat quality Asian food. We are fairly close to Chinatown, so an recommendations there would be fine, as well as all around town.
Burly's Cannon Falls(MN)
This place is a great stop in between Rochester and the Twin Cities. The coffee is roasted on site and the owners are there on a daily basis. There kitchen is pretty good, offering deli sandwiches and panninis. On the weekends they offer a brunch setting too, with waffles, egg sandwiches, breakfast burritos, etc. Overall- good coffee, good food, nice setting, small-town, friendly service.

My boyfriend made reservations for valentines day at The Melting Pot. I have heard it can be a fairly dressy affair... but do not want to overdress (Oh! The horror!). Any tips, suggestions for the overall experience at The Melting Pot?
