Seeking NOLA places using local, seasonal, organic, sustainably-raised ingredients?

Thanks guys, these tips are very helpful!

I made a Dinevore list here: -- I'll keep it updated if I find new places...

Seeking NOLA places using local, seasonal, organic, sustainably-raised ingredients?

I am looking for tips on restaurants/cafes in New Orleans (preferably French Quarter, CBD, Garden District, Warehouse District, or walking distance from those) that use local, seasonal ingredients, preferably organic, and that use sustainably-raised/fished meat, poultry, dairy, seafood, etc.

Any ideas?!

Thanks so much...

ISO Locavore restaurant in Boston -- closer to Longwood the better

I'm staying in the Longwood area (by Harvard Medical School) this Thursday night and I'd like a great place for dinner with good locavore cred -- farmers' market driven, grass-fed/pasture-raised/cage-free/local/sustainable and all the rest.

Something like Blue Hill or Vinegar Hill in NYC/Brooklyn.

Baogette Maiden Lane

Thanks everyone!

Those hours are terrible for me since I LIVE in the Financial District but do not work there (or near any other Baogette location)! ::Sigh:: I will just have to come home early from work one day. :)

Baogette Maiden Lane

Has anyone been here? What are the hours? Specifically, are they open on weekends?

Also, how does it compare to Baogette locations elsewhere in Manhattan?

Also, if I've never been to Baogette, what do I order my first time?

ISO authentic Romesco sauce

In Barcelona I bought a little pot of absolutely delicious Romesco sauce (made from almonds, roasted garlic, olive oil and nyores). I milked that pot for as long as I could, but I've finally scraped out the last of the sauce.

Does anyone know a good place in Manhattan to buy this delicious sauce -- as authentically Catalan as possible?
