Dinner tonight in Vancouver

One last night in Vancouver - where should I go to eat?

Norway's authentic cuisine

I am late to this posting, but just in case someone looks at it again...
My brother remembers a shrimp salad he had in a Bergen cafe near the Coastal Steamer dock as the best he has ever eaten. I don't remember what we ate that day. It was in 1986.
There are many mentions of shrimp salad in this list. Ca n someone tel me how shrimp salad is made in Norway?

is there a good place to eat in othello, wa.?

Thanks. I knew there had to be a place around there somewhere that was good. Can't wait for my next trip.

is there a good place to eat in othello, wa.?

i drive to pullman/moscow frequently.

i'd like to stop for a meal somewhere around othello. i've tried several eateries there, but haven't found anything good yet.

can anyone recommend a good place to eat there? or am i going to have to get a chicken pot pie at kfc again?

Driving to Alaska

Taking the Alaska Highway to Anchorage. Haven't driven it in years. If you have, please tell about the great little bakery you found in the bush, or the tasty breakfast you ate somewhere on the road. And if you found a good place to stay overnight, please include that, too.

mac and cheese

does anyone know a place in the south sound that makes good mac and cheese?
i could make it myself, but there's too much for one person, and then you start eating, and ...
so i want to go to a restaurant and get a bowl of cheesy, crisp around the edges mac and cheese.

road trip - seattle to west glacier

looking for good burgers, bakeries – anything tasty – on the way to montana, and in west glacier area

Centralia, WA

the Mexican restaurant sounds great, but whenever I go past Centralia I have to stop at the northernmost outpost of Burgerville. it's a chain that is very selective about where their ingredients come from – good Oregon beef burgers, tasty seasonal shakes (strawberry in spring, huckleberry in fall, etc.) and sweet potato fries.

Port Townsend-Seattle

my relatives in Port Townsend skip the better-known places and go to Scampi & Halibuts in Port Hadlock. it doesn't look like much, but the seafood is done well. and their sweet potato fries are the best.

Best eats outside the I-5 corridor

Ranch House BBQ outside of Olympia. We always stop on the way to the ocean. Best barbeque around – and they've got the trophies to prove it. they have had some weather problems – check out their web site to see – but will reopens feb. 9. i'll be there.
