Chinese steamed bun mix
Today I found something called "Bot lam Bahn Bao Saigon" mixed flour. The bag has a picture of Bao on the front, but the ingredients list no yeast. Is this the right thing?

I love making steamed cha siu bao, but my dough is never as light as the restaurant ones. I recently heard that you can buy a mix. Do you know where they sell this? Preferably Metro West area.

You'll find that it has moved to Nagog Park in Acton. It's in same strip mall as Scupper Jacks.
Hot Cross Bun Season: Have a good recipe??
I was born in London and love Hot Cross Buns! Check out my blog for a wholewheat version, but you can substitute all white flour if you want. If you use your bread machine, form the buns by hand after the first rise, then bake as shown in the recipe. Good Luck!
