Bratwurst and Butternut Squash Stew

I made this soup with beer bratts and it was so yummy. I'll be making this a lot this winter. I'm printing out the recipe and saving it!

Extra-Spicy Bloody Maria

Bloody Marias are in my opinion a million times better then a bloody mary. Tequila is just tastier with the spicyness and saltiness of the drink

Do you enjoy rare-to-medium poultry?

its possible that its just the way ive been brought up, but i was always really grossed out by raw poultry. i think especially with the way we treat our livestock in the US its not safe to eat it unless its cooked through. i think maybe if it's organic then it might be alright but i doubt i would even like the flavor. in general i have never been a big fan of poultry, i like red meat and fish much more and hardly ever eat it anymor.

Kombucha

So recently ive started drinking it. SG Synergy makes really yummy fruit ones. I like the vinegar taste... anyways, there is a lot of controversy with the health benifits of it. some people say it can be toxic over time, and some people say that it balances the body and aids digenstion ect...theres not a lot of reaserch on it and ive been looking for information but there isnt much scientific evidence that it is healthy or unhealthy. does anyone have experience with drinking kombucha or does anyone have information? I like the taste a lot:)

soy beans

they are loose and dried...so they are not edamame. I thought they were going to be baked and crunchy but they are raw and dried.

Your favorite canned vegetable and how do you eat it?

I love making hummus myself. not to be egotistical but i freaking love my homemade hummus the best out of anyone elses. i put fresh chopped garlic, lemon juice, sea salt, a few sundried tomatoes and a little paprika in a food processor with a can of garbanzo beans and i refrigerate it for a few hours. ive found that refrigerating it is really important beucase it allows the garlic flavor to really come out. i love garlic!!!

Korean/asian cooking

I have always been a huge fan of asian foods. I have not been able to go out to eat as much anymore though becuase ive been kinda broke lately. I recently discovered this amazing international market by my house called "Korean Korner" which has tons of asian foods that are compleatly affordable. the only thing is i need to learn to cook the stuff myself, and most of the packages dont even have english or instructions on them. I saw things like dried squid and other dried fishes, aloe, guava, so many different types of noodles and sea weeds, tiny shrinps in jars, kimchi and so much stuff i cant even identify. can anyone direct me towards a good place to find a ton of recipes and explinations for a lot of the foods that i dont even know what to do with? I love to cook and want to learn to do this on my own but i was so confused in this store. :)
