private dinner party where chef takashi abe (of bluefin in newport beach) was a guest and volunteered to cook for everyone. he brought 20 pounds of japanese kobe beef, pork belly, and giant king crab legs. he prepared them in the backyard bbq of my friend's home that we enjoyed with excellent wine and good company.
