Birthday dinner in the city?
I think we're staying somewhere around Lower Manhattan, so that area would be good. In terms of atmospher, it should be fun, but not too loud to where you can't carry a conversation. Nothing too romantic or anything, we're a group of 20 somethings out for a good time!
Birthday dinner in the city?
Hello all!
I'm visiting NYC for my birthday from out of town, and want to go out somewhere with a group of about 6 on a Saturday night. I tried looking, but there is so much, and I know I might end up in a tourist trap, so any help would be awesome!!
I'm open to all sorts of food, though my favs are Italian, French and Southwestern, and I would ideally not spend more than about $20-$25 on an entree. I also have to be able to get a reservation for next weekend...anybody have any ideas? Thank you!!!
Suggestions for an anniversary dinner-young couple on a budget
Hello Chowhounders!
I used this site quite a bit to find dining spots for my parents' inauguration visit, and was impressed, so I wanted to see if I could get your help. My boyfriend and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary, and are looking for a romantic restaurant for dinner. We're young (fresh outta school) and on a budget, so I think we're looking to spend tops $50 a person. Ideally, we'd be able to get at least 2 substantial courses for the cost. Atmosphere is important, and so is location since we're car-less. Italian and French are our favorite cuisines. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!!
