Fusilli with Parsley, Walnut, and Black Olive Pesto

I like this with peas. When I cook the pasta I throw in some peas towards the end, then drain it.

I'm going to try this pretty soon and tell you how it went. You didn't mention the type of pasta you use but I think elbow or radiatore pasta will suit me fine.

Manhattan Clam Chowder?

I use chicken broth and clam juice for Manhattan clam chowder. Not carrots. Otherwise it's pretty much how you do it. Some people use bacon at the beginning. At the end you can add some hot sauce. In the summer time I put some zucchini in it.

I think garlic and toasted ground cumin is essential. I heard it from a chef who used to work in a Mexican restaurant. You can make guac in a
food processor or just smash it with a fork. If you haven't got any good tomatoes in hand you can use one tomato from a can. Sea salt is recommended. Sometimes I make it with hot chilis most of the time not.
