Soho/nolita comfort food?
I second Nolita House. Mac and Cheese is their staple - try the lobster and bacon version if you're feeling really indulgent. They also have a nice brunch with live bluegrass music.
Any Chocolate Restaurants?
The Chocolate Room in Park Slope might hit the note you're looking for. They do chocolate and wine pairings (like Cocoa Bar) but also just have great, sophisticated desserts. Not a place for little kids, but could be fun for teens. Good luck!
Best Hole-in-the-Wall in Town?
Hi there,
If you're a true food nut, then you have a favorite under-the-radar restaurant in Manhattan or the outer boroughs. You know, the one that no one knows about and is closed three times a week. I'm hoping to visit as many of these gems as possible this year, and would love your suggestions!
It doesn't matter what type of food your restaurant serves, as long as the grub is truly special. Thanks - I'm grateful for your help!
why is the pho in nyc so bad and where can i find boston-like pho?
Try Na Trang on Baxter Street, just South of Canal, for really great Pho Tai. I've never tried the chicken pho there, but you might have some luck.
