Indian around Marina Del Rey
Thanks for all the informative repilies. As it turns out, unbeknownst to me my step-daugher and her husband have recently become bigtime fans of Agra, and not because if claimed fame in a recent I-Phone TV commercial . So, we're definitely dining there. I'm going to show them your messages and see if they'd like to try a second Indian restaurant over the weekend, such as Akbar, Al Watan or Al Noor. In any case, I'll post a review of any Indian place where we dine.
Indian around Marina Del Rey
My wife and I are coming to LA from DC tomorrow for the weekend. We're staying in the Marina del Rey area. We'd appreciate hound recommendations for Indian restaurants in the area. We're not so interested in trendy or "fusion" or the like. We'd prefer more authentic traditional "deshi khana" (Indian food) that's well prepared from quality ingredients.
Ruth's Chris Steak House for RW
Thanks, again, mdfifi. I've made a reservation for my wife and myself, but at one of the Ruth's Chris locations in DC. I'll post a review afterwards.
Ruth's Chris Steak House for RW
Thanks, mdfifi. I'm like you - I love to get deals during RW. Ruth's does sound like a winner, in terms of both value and, I trust, food quality. If it's not too much trouble, how much of a selection was there on the RW menu?
Ruth's Chris Steak House for RW
Thinking about making a reservation at Ruth's Chris for the February 2009 restaurant week. Based on previous years' experiences, what can you tell me about it? Would you recomment it?
Fresco's Restaurant, Ocean City
I've heard the food is good and the ambiance, including the views of the sunset over the bay, is even better. I'd welcome comments from anyone who has eaten there recently. My wife and I have reservations for the weekend of August 26-27.
