What type do you use the square or the round? The round ones are mostly for making pot stickers/ Gyoza and are a little thicker. The square ones are thinner depending on the company like Dynasty. This help whether you simmer them in soup or fry in oil. As for using 2 wrappers like ravioli that's ok too. Just make sure no air is in side when sealing the edges. The air tends to unravel the wrapper. |

They don't know where to shop or eat ! ! ! No, complainng that people go to ethnic restaurants and instead of tasting that culture's food they try to make it Haole by putting ketchup on what they order. I had friends that did that, disgusting. |

They don't know where to shop or eat ! ! ! I don't think you would see Caan and Handler dining anywhere south of Santa Monica,. Like Hawaii the South Bay area has a wide variety of World foods available...Hawaiian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Iindian, Thai, Mexican, Cuban., Italian, etc.. You know it's tough when you order teriyaki chicken and the restaurant doesn't have ketchup... |

Paying for food at Memorial Service Never heard of this in all of the gatherings after the funerals I've attended for just about every religion or ethnic group. Usually it 's a pot luck or the family picks a restaurant to gather at and pays for it. Usually donations help defray the cost. |

Moderately priced interesting food in the South Bay. How about Gina Lee's Bistro in Redondo Beach or Restaurant Christine in Torrance. Christine's maybe a little high priced but still great food. |

Roy's or other Hawaiian food in the L.A. area? Bruddahs for the kalua pork. Last time I went it wasn't dry. Most places make it dry. It should be moist. I would recommend ordering laulau and kalua pork dishes so they can taste both. As far as the rest of what people consider hawaiian food are Hawaiian fried (karaage) and teriyaki chicken, oxtail soup, kalbi, Hawaiian royal,. portuguese sausage. Loco moco, spam musubi and saimin were originally from hawaii. |

Rice - How did you experience it today? wash 2 cups Calrose Shirakiku Brand white rice mixed with 1 cup Nishiki brown rice in a Zojirushi rice cooker. Let soak for 1 hour to soften grains. Cook. Put 2 scoops of rice on a plate, top with grilled onions, 2 patties of hamburger or portugese sausage. Cover with brown gravy and top with fried egg. |
