I don't think JT has a greenhouse, it is probably Lufa as ios94 says. If you want a wonderful place for local fruits and veg it's Birri Brothers. They sell out of their elevator in the winter :).

There is a new place that opened up in Mile End. It's called Spice Station. They are out of California and seem to be a massive hit there. I went in just to take a look but was in a rush and did not buy anything. They have an extensive selection of loose tea. They claim over 100. I love this place. The food is done well and consistent, the lemonade out of this world (especially when Adam makes it). I mean, everything is good. We've been going about once a week and are so happy we finally have a neighborhood joint like this. Long live.

Add grey sea salt and white pepper. If you are using low fat yogurt, consider leaving the cucumber out so that it does not add more liquid. For essence and color you can just grate in some peel. You can also try making it with labneh. To die for darling. To die for. :)

Oh God, another thing that just can't be left alone. Why do we need unnatural red olives anyway? I had no idea olives were dyed.

Hi Ngal, You don't need to remove any of those things. Just chop everything together and use it the same as you always would. The canning process makes the tasty and bones edible and they are full of the best nutrients. It's really good, just give it a shot.

Authenticity to me applies in educational format as far as standards are concerned. I want to know the "original" and I would like it to be preserved because to me it is a part of history and culture. It's beautiful. I would like to know the significance, the climate, the technique, the how's and why's. On my plate I am happy with whatever is decicious.

I might like it :) Especially if it was followed by some ancient see-through sliver of cheddar which of course would have slight dropplets of the peppery olive oil :). lol. Eat what you like and how you like it.

I would make a big creamy feta, dill, potato and lemon zest frittata. Wrap it in those crystal or gel cooler sheets. It will keep beautifully for a long time and you can reheat it in the toaster oven, cut into squares and wedges and enjoy. It will be great.

Soaking Nuts?

Soaking and removes toxins from skins. Because you use alot of nuts in butters amd milks the toxins can concentrate causing discomfirt in those who have sensitive digestive tracts. You obviousley don't :) so don't worry about it. I sometimes soak almonds and walnuts just because I like the consistency.
