Pizza in Baltimore
Chef Paolino and Trattoria are two of my favorite pizza "by the slice" places. Someone recently recommended Ciao Pizza Bistro off Quarry Lake in Baltimore. Has anyone had any good experiences there?

JFX Farmer's Market 2010
So exciting! I was thinking they opened a little later in May. My daughter and I normally go early and hit Zeke's coffee and the smoothie stand across from them. We are looking forward to trying the salsa this year. Last year he was already gone by the time we started going. Love getting my weekly produce there. We will have to check out the asparagus and the fresh herbs. Looking to add some new herbs to my container garden. Can't wait until tomorrow morning! (Wishful thinking...JFX Twitter page!)
Farmers Market Recommendations
Thanks! I read through most of the post. I just saw your post from Wednesday about the plentiful of fruit. That will be exciting, it is her favorite produce to shop for. Especially since our strawberry plants are completely empty.
Farmers Market Recommendations
Thanks everyone for the responses! We are going to try JFX this Sunday. She is only five, hopefully it is not too much of a madhouse. But just to be on the safe side, we will be there bright and early. I think I might try one or two of the others as well, especially if becomes too crowded at JFX.
Farmers Market Recommendations
Hi everyone,
I plan on taking my first trip to the Farmers Market this weekend (yes something I have put off for far too long). My daughter and i have often gone to pick your own farms or road side stands, but not a farmers market yet. I looked at localharvest.org and had a few recommendations, but would rather hear from people who have been and checked out the local vendors. The ones I wrote down are ...
Baltimore's Farmers Market on Sundays (under JFX)
32nd Street Farmers Market on Saturdays (Waverly)
Harbor East FRESHFARM Market on Saturdays (Lancaster St)
Mt Washington Whole Foods Market on Wednesdays
Please any suggestions and tips would be great.
Thanks!
Any good eats near Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore
There are two great places near the Charles Street Theater about a mile away from the Symphony. For dinner if you like tapas try Tapas Teatro (great dishes and Sangria). It is right next to the Theater and a parking garage is across the street (not very expensive couple bucks during the week, not sure about a Saturday). And if the tapas menu isn't really your thing there is Sofi's Crepes on the other side of the Theatre and it is open until 11 pm for an afterwards coffee and delicious crepe (great for sharing). Hope this helps.
Have fun at the Symphony!

Oven Safe Temp for Mikasa Casserole
Hello,
I was recently handed down a Mikasa Casserole Dish with lid. On the back it states freezer to oven to table to dishwasher. Does anybody know the safe (or max) oven temperature of this type of dish.
It also says on the bottom it is Ultra Ceram Bone China Plus, if that helps.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks!
