New + Wonderful Taco Truck in Williamsburg
The couple running the cart was a staple for me last summer. Delicious fresh watermelon juice! and so friendly..... I was lamenting their absence this spring, so it's good to know they are now based at the Woods (never been); thanks @kariface! I also just recently tried Endless Summer, which was definately tasty, though nothing crazy delish....

Royal Rib House- Bedstuy
My coworkers have been ordering from here on payday, and the food looks/smells great! Though I have only had the pleasure of trying their terrific collards, I can't wait to sink my teeth into their beef ribs...

Best Torta?
It's a little off the beaten path, and it may not be the best (i am just getting into the torta/cemita thing), but Cholulita at 888 Broadway in Brooklyn makes a very respectable longaniza cemita and all that. It looks as good as the one at TC.
The place is kind of funnny, though, and looks like a regular bodega with a Mexican twist.
Best Burrito in NY?
I am coming to realize the way to go is along the lines of the trucks at the baseball fields in Red Hook.
The best I think I've had in Brooklyn is the Mexican family that has a cart on Bedford Ave near metropolitan ave. They'll even through some asparagus in if you ask them and they make some insane fresh watermelon juice!
Best Burrito in NY?
I tried it yesterday, and while I couldn't pick it up, it was quite tasty with really friendly service. My one criticism is that the tortilla could've been more fresh. The tomatillo salsa was great, though
Brooklyn Markets?
I think the Farmer's market along Ft. Greene is still happening every sunday until around 2 or 3p? They have produce, artisan breads, cheeses, fish, fruit preserves, etc.
I am interested in this topic because I am looking for a top notch butcher in the area. I know that Green Grape on Fulton by the G has some interesting meat and cheese selections, though some items seem overpriced there. But that's not what you're looking for.
Best Burrito in NY?
Anna's Taqueria is the shit!
I grew up in Watertown and used to go there all the time.
thanks for the input, intangible.
Best Burrito in NY?
I am on a quest for the best burrito in new york.
When I was living up in Williamsburg I tried Loco Burrito and LA Burrito (affiliated) and found they're burritos lacking. Their 3 bean taco special is a can't beat price-wise (though they can be a touch soggy).
As Far as the downtown brooklyn area, I've tried Calexico, Castro's, Bigote's; all just didn't live up to my expectations, though all are decent in a pinch.
I suspect the key might be to venture up to Queens.
I am looking for something along the lines of Cancun Taqueria in San Francisco. Amazing. Something you don't have to eat with a fork and knife: you know, Mission style.
Of course I am not interested in big chains like Qdoba or Chipotle's.
I know I a not being very specific in terms of locale, but I just can't seem to find anything that matches my expectations: fresh cilantro, sliced aguacates, etc.

Jive Turkey in Clinton Hill: Reviews?
I haven't been to Jive Turkey, but Little House on Clinton at Myrtle is a favorite of mine. Super friendly family-run spot for chicken and waffles and all your soul food cravings. The sweet tea s really good, but intense; one cup could make two with a little water added. Closes early sometimes so be careful
