Okay-modifying this a bit. If you had one night in Tucson for dinner, where would you eat?

Would love a mid-priced place with good ambience for 5 people (no long waits). Thanks!

Traveling through Arizona with my parents and english cousins. Hoping to have lots of tasty mexican and southwestern food while we are there.

So, question is, if you had one night in each of these cities for a mid-priced dinner with 5 adults ( and probably no place with long wait time) where would you go? Tuscon we can bust the budget a bit if that helps. Thanks!

Nice brunch place with 3 yr old toddler near Museum of Natural history

Calle Ocho has decent food and it slightly fancy. Great sangria too (for the adults).

BBQ on way from Charleston to Asheville

Thanks for the feedback! If Sunday is really a bad day, we do have one alternative. We're driving from Asheville to Charlotte on Tuesday, and could stop somewhere along the way for dinner. Are there any killer barbeque spots we'd find along that road? Thank you!

BBQ on way from Charleston to Asheville

My family is driving from Charleston to Asheville, and we were hoping to stop along the way for some authentic Southern BBQ. Greatly appreciate any recommendations you can provide! We'll be headed out on a Sunday mid-morning. Thanks!

Farmer's Cheese in Seattle?

My sister and I are trying to re-create our grandmother's burek recipe from the former Yugoslav. Does anyone know where we could buy a simple farmer's cheese in the Seattle area? Preferably somewhere between the Central District and Greenwood. And we need to make ALOT of it, so somewhere we could buy in bulk would be awesome. Thanks for the help!

Serbian Food?

There is no diff between burek and pita- they are just 2 names for the same thing. In Serbia/Bosnia they will often call it pita, and in Croatia I heard it more often called Burek, but honestly they told me there was no difference!

In need of Back Bay Restaurant Advice

Thanks to everyone for the recommendations. We had an excellent meal at Coda- fresh scallops with polenta with a nice local beer to wash it down. Best of all- I felt like I was eating with the locals.

Bosnian/Croatian Rest in Astoria...that serves Alcohol?

Hi folks,

I'm hoping to introduce a good friend of mine to the wonder that is Yugoslav cooking, but her boyfriend can't do without a drink at his meal. BYOB is fine. Has anyone had experience doing BYOB at any of the whole-in-the-wall Burek or Cevapi spots? Or are there any recommended restaurants that you know serve alcohol?

Thanks for the help!

In need of Back Bay Restaurant Advice

Hi all,

I'm getting into Boston late on a Friday night, and looking for a yummy, not overly expensive (around $15 -$25 entrees) restaurant in the Back Bay area where I'll be staying. Last time I was in the area I was somewhat underwhelmed by the restaurants I saw (so many chains!). Does anyone have a suggestion for someplace more unique? We like all kinds of food- seafood, asian, american, french etc. but would prefer non-Italian because the next night we're going out in the North End.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Where can I find strombolis?

Just watched Adam on Man v. Food devour delicious looking stromboli sandwiches in New Brunswick's "Stuff Yer Face." Can such deliciousness be found in new york city?

Trying to find Impressive Asian Restaurant in Seattle

So I'm a native Seattleite whose gone and moved herself to Manhattan. I'm bringing the NY boyfriend back and I want to show him that Seattle food can be just as good as NY. He's big on Asian food, and my parents are paying...so does anyone know of a great Asian restaurant that promises to impress a Manhattanite?

Thai in the Village

I highly enjoy Room Service, at 166 8th Ave. And I've only ever had their takeout- which is both quick to come and delicious to eat!
