Great Small Restaurant For Pupusas +1 for El Cuscatleco, well worth a trip. However, make sure you read the hours of enforcement on the parking meters - they tend to run late and the meter maids will ticket you! |

Fresh Direct Has Come to Philadelphia So far they don't come out to Newtown Square, but I have been using Peapod's (Giant) service for the past couple of weeks - and it has been great! Same deal, but not as much selection as Fresh Direct. My main concern was the quality of the produce and meat , but so far it has been good. The prices seem to be about what Giant charges, but they offer specials. The ease of ordering from my desk at work and changing my order as the week goes on is great and with the two hour delivery window, I am done my shopping for the week by 9 AM on Saturday. |

I haven't myself but friends have and they liked it. Good pizza, great Italian. Also a decent selection of beer and wine. |

While the food is okay here, the attitude and the inability to keep reservations has made this establishment a 'nogo' for me. |

Maybe Worrell's in Malvern or Westtown Meats in West Chester might be able to help you. |

remember The Bazaar of All Nations?? It had to be close to 50 years ago, my dad would take me there probably once a month on Saturdays. There were shops/stalls for everything - underware, key making, hobby shop, picture framing, etc. We would always get the soft pretzels and a box of sticky buns for the family. |

Anybody remember the Inglenook in Swarthmore? I remember my parents taking us there with my Grandparents. You might as well as have been in the lobby of Fair Acres Nursing Home. I don't remember much about the food - except for the rolls. They had an amazing basket of assorted dinner rolls, especially the sweet ones!! The only other places like it that I can think of were the Country Crier and the Country House Inn. It has been a long, long time since I have been to either of them and they both may be long gone. But the times i was in them, the average age of the clientele was probably 80 and Fair Acres used to run a shuttle bus to the Country House. |

The Olive Tree in Downingtown--Anyone Been? Apparently they also are involved with a restaurant at the Exton Town Center called Freskada Kusina. Has anybody been there yet? |

The Olive Tree in Downingtown--Anyone Been? I have been there a couple of times. Most recently they have expanded into the next door location and added a number of menu items. In the past I have had some of the 'usual' things - gyro, souvlaki, etc. - all were good. Last time i had one of their specials, a grilled bronzino with lemon which was great. All in all, their food is good and the prices are fine. |

Anyone been to Mixx or Azie on Main in Villanova? Went back to Mixx last night - apparentl;y they changed their menu removing some items and adding some Chinese dishes. Unfiortunately the brisket sandwich was one of the items removed. Had Wonton soup, fish sandwich with fires - my wife had a chopped salad. All of the food was good and tasty but the whole time we were there (from about 5:30 to 6:15), there was only one other customer there. |

Japanese Cheesesteaks around 11th & Sansom Talk about memories! Back in the mid-70's I worked at 1234 Market Street and we would go to the stand a couple of times a month to get lunch. Not the easiest thing to eat (they would tend to drip a bit) but 'absolutely superb' is a good description of the taste. Sorry, I don't know of any place in Philly where they make them anything like that. |
