Boston's best burger?
The Bristol Lounge - a classic burger.

Bar at Union
Stopped into Union Bar & Grille for a drink with a friend and ended up staying for dinner at the bar. There have been some nice changes to the menu since I was last there. Shared the grilled pizza with clams. It was delicious with the which taste/flavor of chowder. Also tried the braised pork belly - perfect for a chilly night. Friend was impressed by their wine list. The bartender was helpful with suggestions but not in our face. She made a special drink called At the Gates with Gin, Benedictine & St. Germaine -- loved it. Union is back on my radar.

Patricia Yeo after Ginger Park
Was at Om the other night. The drinks were far more interesting than the food.
early Sunday brunch for a party of 14 - must be child friendly!
I second Union in the South End.
Ginger Park
not verified but heard that the space is for sale $600K without liquor license.
Biltmore Newton? Why can't they just be nice?
Heard they are opening a second location in Southie.
Pazzo for dinner
Is Bradley still running the kitchen? I heard he left. Can anyone confirm?
Dinner for 25 in Wellesley/Natick
Looking for a restaurant that will accomodate 25 pp for a casual dinner & drinks (possibly a private room w/out a fee) on a Thursday night in the Wellesley/Natick area. We have been to The Cottage.
Thanks!
Friend is visiting Pittsburgh for One Night
And she is looking for the hot/trendy or up-and-coming restaurant for dinner in the downtown area of Pittsburgh.
Thanks!
Superbowl Viewing -- Metro West
The Biltmore has a great neighborhood vibe & good food. My husband loves their selection of beer on tap.
ginger park vs myers and chang
Ginger Park has some great items that you can share with friends. They also have some fun cocktails. The space is beautiful and Chef Yao is a creative talent. Boston is lucky to have her. I've only had excellent service.
Event space in Brookline/Newton/W.Rox
The Biltmore in Newton may be able to accomodate.
Wagamama
The economy may have delayed the opening of this British chain. Wagamama bills itself as affordable .... a simple noodle dish & side & drink cost $25! Expensive fast mediocre food with MSG is what it is.
Boston's Best Recesssion Dining Deals - Saturday Night?
What some spent on a dinner is now their earnings for the week. Looking for Saturday early eve dinner deals in Boston. Prix Fixe, Small Plates. Whatever.
Thanks! M
Fall 2009 Openings and Closings
Milestone is owned by the folks who own the Maugus. Heard they have a good chef on board. They are also hoping for full liquor.
Venue for 40th birthday party
I went to a fun birthday cocktail party at Les Zygomates on South Street. They have a great private space and had tasty appetizers.

Always liked the bar and island menu there. Maybe they need to bring back IHOP?

Brunch at Banq -- wow, that sucked
You are right although the interior rocks I've tried BanQ several times but prefer the food & service at Stella or Union. There is no comparison. Like Mantra, Banq should stick to parties.
Private dining at Radius
I went to a work event at Radius and didn't like the Private Downstairs space at all- small room in the basement by the bathrooms. No natural light. I do enjoy the dining upstairs though. The private dining room at Stella is quite nice and my company had a great experience at Mistral.
private restaurant space for wedding?
A friend got married at Banq restaurant in the South End - both ceremony & reception. It was beautiful and the interior is very unique. i'm not sure what the cost was.
Schlow's 606
Slammed by the Globe. Anyone have their own experiences? From other Globe press in Names it seems as though Schlow was spending most of his time at MGM

How are his other restaurants doing? Radius, Via Matta, Alta Strada Wellesley?
italian sausages
I recently had the Sausage Cacciatore at Felicia's in Stoneham. The sausage was sweet & delicious. I asked what sausage the chef uses and was told Bianco's. I definitely want to try this at home.
