Which Tagine cookware would you advise...Please advise if you have one. Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments. I bought the Emile Henri tagine in Red tonight. It was on sale...I really wanted the Black , but was told it is only sold in Black in Europe..Odd no? |

What can I do with vanilla vodka, besides give it away? I make a lychee Martini..Lychee liquor, Saki, Vanilla Stoli and lychee juice..yummy. |

Which Tagine cookware would you advise...Please advise if you have one. I am looking at buying a tagine cooker. I know that some cannot be used on the stove top (gas). Some have handles on the side. Emeril and All clad..Emil Henry has a heavier ceramic but no handles..which of course with pot holders can be easily removed from the oven but with all the juices in the tagine could spill easier. Do you own one...And what is your favorite recipe to cook in it? Thanks |

My whole collection is All Clad LTD..I have had them since 1990. Although they are faded a bit on the outside..yes, I put them in the dishwasher..they have held up 100% and cook today as they did on day one. |

Le Saint Amour or Laurie Raphael? I totally recommend Le Saint Amour..I just posted a comment about this on this web site..look for best in Quebec City..I best meal, ever in our lives..Also, going out of the city..Aubergene..Fabulous..We had sweet breads 3 times, couldnt get enough..Oh, and St. Amour..is worth every penny and more..had the 10 course meal.. |

We were in Quebec City last year. Our most memorable dinner ever in our lives was a restaurant called Le Saint Amour. The restaurant has contemporary cuisine. They have won numberous awards in food competitions. Yes, they are expensive..and worth every bit of it and more. My husband and I had their 10 course meal..tasting..so that the dishes were all presented to us without knowing in advance the items. Also, it was the only place to ever ask if we had any food allergies, which we dont. The wine, we ordered al acarte..We were there for 4 hours and 15 min..price was under 300 for 2..complete with tax etc..We will return there for sure..only open for dinner. |

I love sushi, however, after trying sea urchin..not under the influence...and under the influence..I still cant stomach it. I know it is a delicacy, but I think it resembles an oyster that sat in the sun for a long time, but instead of going hard from being cooked, it went nasty and slimy..sorry.. and cant stomach the raw egg yolk either. |
