I have about 6 of Moosewood restaurant cookbooks and enjoy them all

to make this iraqi chicken I am making my own spice mixture - first time
the recipes I found contain, pepper cumin, coriander, cloves nutmeg, cinamon, and cardamon also in there was paprika (which makes 8 go figure)
anybody have suggestions or 7 spice mixture recipes should I take out the paprika or not

we used to get frozen pizza dough that you roll out and make your own pizza with at super c in west island - cannot find it anymore\

do not know why so expensive if quebec grown perhaps someone can shed some light on why cost so high

I read the paper about this and went to Atwater market and was sold a string of garlic which I was told made in quebec ( there was no sticker on it as I was later told should be) anyhow does not taste that great so wondering ...u,mmmm
they also have this at Jean Talon Market till October and apparently supposed to last months and test better than chinese garlic ..

I want to make a tuna pie in a 9 x 13 pan this wk -end for first time

do i buy the squares of puff pastry and lay them on the bottom and put filling and then layer them on top

or buy one piece of dough (puff pastry) and roll and put on top or bottom please let me know if you have tried either of these ways thanks

I found a lot of the recipes tempting and not too difficult go for it..............

first time buyer on pasta machine is there a decent one for decent price
does it come with all attachments

Which stores would have better turnover to ensure spices are fresh

I have seen them at IGA and Maxi;s in Dorval

If making one of those frozen pizzas and you heat it up on a pizza pan which one would you use- also I have seen one with holes in bottom - is that better any suggestions welcome

coming from Montreal next week end and staying in hotel on Comemrce valley and not too familiar with area at all. Like to find restaurant for Friday night for 6 couples that serves a bit of everything. perhaps fish, grilled meats,chicken. around 25-30 dollars a person or any suggestions you chows give would be find too
