I am helping with planning a wedding reception for a guest list of about 450 people. There are large halls in the Greater Toronto area that cater to ethnic groups and are quite competitive in prices. However these receptions tend to have the same format which I suppose is fine for many people but I would like to explore doing something different. I have visions of a grate outdoor place, wonderful breeze, idyllic views. I don't live in Canada and so it would be a huge help if I could get some ideas from locals.
Some characteristics of the group:
(1) 450 people
(2) Alcohol free event
(3) Event in second half of August, 2013 probably on a Sunday
(4)Dance floor would be ideal
(5) BBQ?
