[Edinburgh] Romantic Valentine's dinner? I would suggest: The Vinter's Room in Leith (loads better than it look on the website). Further a field: Need to stay: |

Bangkok restaurants, street food & cookery schools Im off to Bangkok for 5 nights in a couple of weeks with my husband and we are looking for a mix of fine dining and street food. I've read through the comments on previous posts but am still unsure of where not to miss and I am a bit nervous about the safety of street food but don't want to miss the experience. We are looking for authentic Thai restaurants, street food outlets with a good reputation for not giving you a dodgy stomach and would like somewhere special for our final night. We where going to try Bo.Lan but have seen the mixed reviews. We are also planing to go to a cookery school of which Blue Elephant is the obvious choice unless anyone has had a great experience elsewhere? |

London - please help with my list If they are flying in or out of Heathrow then they could stop at Chiswick and go to La Trompette which has a great lunch menu and is really reasonable for a Michelan stared restaurant. Their hotel is near Charlotte Street (Goodge St tube) which has loads of great restaurants Roka for Japanese (http://www.rokarestaurant.com/), Fino for Tapas. www.squaremeal.co.uk is a great website when choosing restaurants and bars. Borough Market is really busy on a Saturday and not always enjoyable because of this. There is a good Tapas plance called Brindasea on the edge of the market which is very good. |

Ryokan with great food in Kinosaki Brilliant-thank you, they all look really good. I can not wait to try the crab!! The food is the most important factor and we would prefer an outdoor onsen and a traditional setting rather than a modern hotel type Ryokan. Our budget is about 27 000 each. Do you know the name of Nishimuraya's second property? |

Ryokan with great food in Kinosaki I am planning a trip to Tokyo and Kyoto and looking for a traditional Ryokan with outdoor onsen in the Kinosaki area. I have lloked at Nishimuraya which looks amazing but with the UK exchange rate it is out of my price range. Any suggestions for an alternative? |
