Child Friendly Sushi in Manhattan

Matsuri at the Maritime Hotel (9th Ave and 16th St). They're only open for dinner. Go early (6 pm) and they're really nice and accomodating. It's a large room and oddly child-friendly. And the food and service are really good. I'm a parent of a 4 and a half year old and we've been going as there (as a special event, it is pricey) a few times a year since they opened up.

looking for a "Garlic sausage" vendor in manhattan?

Want to make a cassoulet a la Julia Child. Her requires garlic sausage made from scratch which, come on now, who has the time? Any ideas where I could get French sausages?

quiet place for coffee, mid-morning weekday Union Square area

What about the restaurant at the W hotel on 17th and Union Square West?

LA Hound Moving to 12th and Broadway... any suggestions?

You are one block away from Japonica an excellent sushi restaurant. their sushi and sashimi are cut large (ie: more than one bite) but are fabulously fresh, they have lots of seasonal selections and their cooked food and lunch specials are pretty darn good too. It's a restaurant that's been on University Place for for around 20 years.

Toddler Friendly Eats in W. Village?

Matsuri. Not sure if they have high chairs, but have been taking my now-3yo to it for the past year. They're suprisingly nice and the food is great. Edamame, soba, excellent tofu/eggplant app are what appeals to my girl, everything else appeals to me and hubby.

non-awful Chinese delivery in West Village?

My kid loves the Buddah. Food is fresh, service is lovely, delivery fast, but not particularly great. So-so.

Family Friendly in SF?

Going out there with a picky 3 y.o. Any suggestions in the city? We're staying near the Embarcadero, but can travel a wee bit. BTW: Hubby and I are real fressers.
